We will help you link to community, mainstream and other government services most suited to your individual needs. As your Support Coordinator, Imaginability will focus on supporting you to build the skills and direction to help you to Imagine and achieve your best life.
As an accredited Social Worker registered with the AASW and NDIS, I am passionate about advocating for people with disability. My aim is to help people imagine and achieve their best life. I have seen people achieve so much already with appropriate supports and funding and am driven to assist people to navigate complex disability systems.
I have worked for the past 11 years across private and public sector, in-patient and outpatient hospital settings. More recently I have been working in the disability sector in the Specialist Support Co-ordination, Specialist Disability Accomodation and tenancy matching. My knowledge of disability and health conditions is extensive and encompasses the following specialties:
I have raised a son with a severe physical impairment and have followed and supported him on his journey to achieve independence. This lived experience helps inform my practice, and my interventions which are person centred, and solution focused. These approaches acknowledge that all people have strengths, and, given access to appropriate resources and supports, they can achieve their goals and find solutions to live full and independent lives.
